A Message from John Altmeyer

Every day GAF is working to deliver high quality roofing and waterproofing products that families and businesses can count on to protect them when it matters most. We take that commitment seriously and believe sustainability is a critical part of delivering on that promise. Last year, we launched our 2030 Planet Goals, a roadmap for improving our operations in a way that not only benefits our business, but also our communities and the planet. Sustainability is not only about making our business more efficient, it is also about bringing new solutions to market that meet the needs of our customers and the communities we serve. This work is about driving collaboration and partnership to help tackle some of the biggest challenges facing our industry, and GAF is committed to being part of the solution. We made meaningful progress in 2022, and this report will take you through exciting new programs and initiatives. From tackling urban heat to making the roofing industry more inclusive, our sustainability actions are helping us secure our business for the future, carve out new avenues for growth, and ensure we are contributing positively to society. I thank our employees, our customers and our partners who have joined us on this journey and am looking forward to what we will continue to achieve together.
