A GAF Commercial Certification is your assurance that a contractor has been vetted annually by GAF for a record of quality workmanship and professional experience. It means that they have access to professional skills training in a broad range of advanced commercial roofing technologies — including single-ply, asphaltic coatings, hybrid systems, liquid-applied roofing,and specialty solutions such as cold storage — through industry-leading hands-on and online training provided by the GAF CARE Team.

GAF Certified™ Commercial Contractor
At our introductory certification level, GAF Certified™ Commercial Contractors are required to have proper insurance and licensing (in states where required) to become certified, have access to a wide range of virtual and hands-on training from the GAF CARE team, and can offer the GAF Integrated System Limited Warranty and System Pledge™ Roof Guarantee.*
GAF GoldElite™ Commercial Contractor
GAF GoldElite™ Commercial Contractors — evaluated annually for a strong reputation for quality, and a commitment to understanding the latest technology and installation methods — can offer the GAF Diamond Pledge™ NDL Roof Guarantee with a coverage term up to 25 years for qualifying systems.*
GAF PlatinumElite™ Commercial Contractor
Less than 10% of GAF Commercial Contractors qualify. GAF PlatinumElite™ Commercial Contractors are held to some of the industry’s highest standards, evaluated and approved unanimously by GAF Field and Sales leadership annually. This process includes evaluation of inspection ratings, claim history, responsiveness, and reputation within their local market.

Liquid-Applied Roofing Contractors
GAF offers two tiers of certification for contractors that focus on, and excel in, the installation of coatings and liquid membranes. To become certified, these contractors must have proper insurance* and licensing, a strong reputation or quality, and a commitment to understanding the latest liquid-applied roofing technology and installation methods.
