Invest in your community with the GAF Habitat for Humanity Program
By partnering with your local Habitat for Humanity affiliate to install GAF roofs for decent and affordable homes, you’re able to show your community that you are invested in the well being of your neighbors.
How it works
Habitat for Humanity partners with you on a local project
Habitat has over 1,500 local affiliates in the U.S. that contractors can work with to help provide safe, affordable housing.
GAF donates roofing and System Plus Limited Warranty
Work with your local affiliate to determine roofing materials needed and procure through your local distributor.
Contractor certified by GAF donates time to project
Complete your project.
Get reimbursed
You’ll be issued a material credit as reimbursement when the project is complete.

Through the Affordable Housing Reroof Program* you have the opportunity to work with a local 501(c)(3) organization on the reroof project of your choice. GAF will donate shingles to the project.

How it works

Identify the project you want to partner on with your local nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization and determine the roofing needs for the project
Connect with your local TM
Prior to starting the project, contact your local TM to discuss the shingle needs for the project.
Find a TM
Submit a GAF grant application with your TM
Your TM will submit a GAF Grant application for the shingles needed for the project
Get donated shingles from GAF
If approved, GAF will donate shingles to the nonprofit partner for use on the roof installation

Support frontline heros
Supporting community heroes serving on the front lines
This program is a chance to honor and give back to those risking their lives every day to keep others safe. Through this program you have the opportunity to work with a local 501(c)(3) organization on a roof repair, rehab or replacement on a roof with demonstrable need for a local community hero**. GAF will donate shingles to the project.
** Community Heroes for this program are identified as front line health workers including people employed by medical centers and assisted living facilities and first responders including police, fire and EMT men and women and veterans.
