Alma Garnett is responsible for driving the strategic management and growth of the Commercial sales organization. Prior to joining GAF, Alma served as Interim President, Western Division of Boswell Accurate, a Canadian roofing and waterproofing company, and as President of Convoy Supply, a subsidiary of SOPREMA that supplies building materials through more than 40 branches across Canada and the US. She is also the founder of Hunter Panels, a supplier of polyisocyanurate insulation.
Alma is a founding member of Women in Roofing (WinR) and a founding board member of the The Girls Foundation of Tanzania. She received the VRCA (Vancouver Regional Construction Association) Outstanding Woman in Construction award in 2015. Alma received her BA from Smith College in Massachusetts and is a graduate of the Ivey Business School at Western University’s QuantumShift Program.
